Pre-Conference Seminar Monday, 1 October 2007 Presented by: ESNA
"Interoperability"
Every utility would like to have interoperable meters, for technical and business reasons. However, how to define and realize interoperability without giving up innovation as well as "lock-in"? How to define interoperability and on what level(s) should you want it? Meter level, system level or application level? Ensuring a future proof environment, enabling you to take the best offer at any moment in time, not only during lifecycle of a system.
This workshop will provide views of utilities and system suppliers on how interoperability can be achieved without any downside in (hidden) cost, capabilities or innovation.
